Jones Whyte Expand Free Drop In Clinic

We are today delighted to announce the date of our next out of hours drop in clinic - Thursday 30th January. Running from 5-7pm, in our West George Street office in Glasgow city centre, the free clinic offers legal advice and support to individuals on all areas of family law, such as:

This will be the 4th free drop in clinic we have held, but the first to cover all areas of family law. The feedback from the previous divorce & separation events has been fantastic with clients appreciating being able to receive free expert advice during what can often be a very difficult period, with one of the latest attendees saying:

“I can't thank you enough for taking time to meet with me. I found the meeting really informative and you explained everything really well. Our meeting helped me clarify in my own mind what I want to do. I was feeling very vulnerable before our meeting and you were really helpful and easy to talk to.”

By expanding the clinic to cover all areas of family law rather than simply divorce & separation, we hope to be able to assist even more people through some of the most difficult situations in life.

Speaking about the upcoming event, Cameron Shaw, Associate, Jones Whyte Family Law department said:

“We realise that when you are going a family law matter, it is often one of, if not, the most stressful time an individual will go through. This doesn’t include the stress involved in trying to fit in a visit to your lawyers into your already busy schedule. That’s where the idea for the drop in clinic came from.

Allowing people to gain access to quality legal advice that they need on family matters, at a time that works for them. Not having to take time out of work or a long wait for an appointment that suits. Just pop in between the hours of 5pm & 7pm and we will be on hand to provide help, support & advice. We also have a limited number of appointments available, therefore it would be sensible for those wishing to obtain advice, to phone beforehand and confirm their appointment.”

Family issues and disputes can cause acute distress and anxiety. However, you may be surprised by the variety of options available to you. Led by our experienced divorce lawyers, Amerdeep Dhami, Cameron Shaw and Danielle Stevenson. Our sympathetic team of family law solicitors will assess your circumstances and provide guidance to ensure that you take the best course of action to resolve the situation.

The clinic takes place in our modern Glasgow office, situated at 98 West George Street, G2 1PJ (next to Stack & Still).
